Suspicious Individual Caught Lurking in Apartment Stairwell

Around 3:30 in the morning, a Stealth Monitoring security professional observed suspicious behavior from a man seen entering a Washington apartment building’s common area. On closer inspection, the man appeared to be settling into the stairwell, perhaps as a place to bed down for the night. The security operator immediately followed up with local law enforcement, particularly after observing the man appearing to light something with a lighter. Police arrived on scene shortly after and placed the man under arrest.
