Stealth Monitoring Continues Support for Habitat for Humanity GTA into 16th Year.

The price of a family-sized home in the Greater Toronto Area has soared to 15 times the rate of average incomes in that same region, and only 2% of housing built or approved in Toronto in the last 5 years has been considered affordable. This makes the need for organizations like Habitat for Humanity GTA, whose mission is to build affordable, inclusive communities across the Greater Toronto Area, abundantly clear.  

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity GTA has been uniting volunteers, community partners and donors in their mission to create long-term affordability across the region, and to build both homes and communites throughout the Greater Toronto area. Habitat for Humanity GTA is helping 500+ families build stability and financial independence through affordable homeownership, and last year in 2022 3,500+ volunteers spent 90,000+ hours supporting this incredibly worthwhile cause.

Stealth Monitoring Founder/Managing Director Sidney Sommer has been a longtime advocate for the Greater Toronto Area nonprofit organization. Just recently, Sidney presented another check on behalf of Stealth to Habitat for Humanity GTA in the amount of $10,000. This is the 16th year Sidney and the team at Stealth have contributed to the organization in order to help fulfill their vision:  to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to call home. 

Stealth’s construction security solution is used at Habitat’s Toronto-area projects to help ensure the equipment, projects, materials, and volunteers are safe and secure. When the building projects are completed, Stealth presents sponsors with a time-lapse video of the entire project from start to finish, allowing them to see the results of their participation. Since 2014, Stealth employees have also volunteered their time at Habitat for Humanity projects, making contributions both physical and financial.
