In this month’s video, a trespasser is caught red-handed with stolen items in his hands.
Just before 7 p.m., a Stealth security operator saw a trespasser on a San Francisco construction site. The individual had on a backpack and was pulling a piece of luggage. He worked his way around the site in search of things he could easily take. The operator activated the on-site speaker warning two separate times, but the suspect did not respond.
The operator then contacted police.
Many construction sites have been forced to shut down amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Others have had to scale back on the number of people who can be onsite at a given time. Both scenarios make it easier for someone to walk in and steal. Fewer witnesses mean greater opportunity.
Officers arrived and intercepted the perpetrator. They searched his belongings and collected the stolen items. The handcuffed suspect was then escorted from the property.
